The Low Input X2 series accepts 0 to +10 dBm input drive, making it suitable for applications where the signal source cannot provide a full +10 dBm drive level. All models include internal LDO voltage regulation, operate from +12 VDC, and are packaged in compact coaxial modules (4KK/6KK packages through Ka-band, 4KV/6KV packages for V-band models) with waveguide output available on select models. Understanding Model Designations: ASX_ vs ATX_

Wright Technologies uses a consistent naming convention across the frequency doubler line:

• • ASX_ prefix — Production-tested models. Every unit is screened to guaranteed minimum and maximum specifications before shipment.
  • ATX_ prefix — Characterized (typical-performance) models. Suitable for design evaluation and prototype builds before committing to production-tested inventory.
  • L suffix — Low Input variant, accepting input drive from 0 dBm (vs. +10 dBm minimum for the standard model in the same family).
  • Asterisk (*) — Waveguide output connector option available for that model, in addition to standard female coax.
  • The two-digit number following the X (e.g., 11, 20, 40, 75) identifies the specific frequency band/family — see the spec tables or the Frequency Coverage table below for exact ranges.

X2-A — Standard X2 Series (ASX_ / ATX_)

The Wright Technologies Standard X2 Frequency Doublers deliver X2 output across 6 to 75 GHz output range (3.0 to 37.5 GHz input) from a family of compact packaged modules— covering C-band, X-band, Ku-band, K-band, Ka-band, and V-band applications. With a +10 dBm minimum input drive level, +10 to +25 dBm (min output-ASX, typical output-ATX) power, and −20 dBc harmonic suppression (−60 dBc typical spurious), the Standard X2 series covers the widest span of any doubler product line Wright Technologies offers. X2-B — Low Input X2 Series (ASX_L / ATX_L)

The Low Input X2 series provides the same broadband X2 multiplication coverage as the Standard X2 series — 6 to 75 GHz output — but accepts input drive from 0 to +10 dBm, versus the 10 dBm minimum required by the Standard series. This series is designed for applications where the driving signal source cannot deliver a full +10 dBm level, such as direct-conversion synthesizer outputs, receiver LO chains, and laboratory setups using attenuated signal sources. Output power and harmonic performance are comparable to the Standard X2 ASX_/ATX_ series across the same frequency range.
